In 2022, I asked myself what seemed like a simple question. Is it possible to live a life without the Internet and still be a person in modern society? Short answer, no. But I spent the whole year trying to find a way to do it. I never succeeded, but I did manage to find a happier balance of tech to life.
I was also doing a replay of my Depth Year, so the progress reports talk about both.
For those wanting to peek ahead – I am having much more success in deshittifying my life. You can read about that over in Deshittification 2026.
